Re:       Notice Regarding Special Temporary Authority to De—Orbit the
          Intelsat 3R Satellite, Call Sign PAS—2R
          File No. SAT—STA—20110503—00083

Dear Mr. Nelson:

Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat"), pursuant to condition #4 of the June 15,
2011 grant of Special Temporary Authority ("STA") authorizing Intelsat to
de—orbit the Intelsat 3R satellite (Call Sign PAS—2R) from its current location at
81.0° W.L. and to perform telemetry, tracking and command ("ITT&C")
functions with Intelsat 3R during this maneuver,‘ hereby informs the
Commission of the following.

The actual expected date of commencement of end—of—life maneuvers for the
Intelsat 3R satellite is July 6, 2011. On that date, Intelsat will start the first de—
orbit burn.
