(SES Americom) for special temporary authority, IBFS File No. SAT—STA—20110414—00072, for a period of 30 days in connection with the operations of the AMC—4 space station (Call Sign $2135) at the 67° W.L. orbital location in the 11.45—11.7 GHz and 11.7—12.2 GHz (space—to—Earth) frequency bands; and 13.75— 14.0 GHz and 14.0—14.5 GHz (Earth—to—space) frequency bands IS GRANTED. Specifically, SES Americom is authorized to operate the AMC—4 space station with a 0.1— degree change in the azimuth of the satellite‘s North American beam from the orientation previously authorized.‘ This authorization shall be in accordance with the technical specifications set forth in SES Americom‘s application, Federal Communication Commission (Commission) rules, and is subject to the following conditions: 1. All operations pursuant this grant of special temporary authority shall be on an unprotected and non—harmful interference basis, i.e., SES Americom shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from interference caused to it by, any other lawfully operating station. 2. In the event of any harmful interference caused by AMC—4 while operating pursuant to this grant of special temporary authority, SES Americom shall cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference, and shall inform the Commission, in writing, immediately of such an event. 3. Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this special temporary authority is solely at SES Americom‘s own risk. 4. This action is issued pursuant to Section 0.261 of the Commission‘s rules on delegated authority, 47 C.F.R. §2.261, and is effective immediately. SES Americom, Inc. seeks special temporary authority to repoint the satellite AMC—4, call sign $2135, at 67 W.L. and to operate it with a slightly altered coverage pattern for a period of 30 days starting no later than April 21, 2011. 9.
