SES Americom, Inc. respectfully requests a 30-day extension of its special temporary authority to operate the AMC-9 fixed-satellite space station with a 0.4 degree change in the north/south orientation of the C-band reflector, FCC File No. SAT-STA-20110301-00043. Extension is requested for continued evaluation of AMC-9's C-band coverage of the Southern United States, Mexico and Central America. No change in the orbital location of the satellite or the orientation of the Ku-band antenna is proposed.
