Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Supplement to Request for Special Temporary Authority to Conduct In-Orbit Testing of New Dawn; Call Sign: S2751 File No. SAT-STA-20110302-00045 Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat New Dawn Company, Ltd. ("Intelsat") herein supplements the above referenced request for Special Temporary Authority ("STA") to conduct in-orbit testing (“IOT”) of New Dawn (call sign S2751) at 23.1º E.L. in the bands 3620-4200 MHz (downlink), 5850-6500 MHz (uplink), 10950-11200 MHz and 11450-11700 MHz (downlink), and 14000-14500 MHz (uplink) and to drift the satellite to its permanent location of 32.8° E.L.1 Specifically, Intelsat wishes to revise the requested start date as explained below. New Dawn was scheduled to be launched on March 30, 2011. In the above referenced STA request, Intelsat asked for a start date of April 5, 2011. However, the launch was scrubbed after the launch sequence shut down automatically. The rescheduled launch date for New Dawn is currently April 22, 2011.
