8. Description SES Americom, Inc. respectfully requests a 60-day extension of the authority granted in File No. SAT-STA-20101214-00259 to permit continued operation of the AMC-2 C-band payload with the current polarization pending action on an application to modify the spacecraft license to conform to the existing technical characteristics of the payload, File No. SAT-MOD-20101215-00261. SES Americom incorporates by reference the justification for the STA submitted in File Nos. SAT-STA-20101117-00238 and SAT-STA-20101214-00259.

9. By checking Yes, the undersigned certifies that neither applicant nor any other party to the application is subject to a denial of Federal benefits that includes FCC benefits pursuant to Section 5301 of the Anti-Drug Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C.
