                          Dear Ms. Dortch:

Intelsat North America LLC (“Intelsat”), by its attorneys, files this letter pursuant to
Section 1.65 of the Federal Communication Commission’s (“FCC”) rules1 to
supplement its previously filed request for special temporary authority (“STA”) to
                          operate the Intelsat 705 satellite (call sign S2395) at 304.6º E.L. (55.4º W.L.) for
                          180 days.2

First, Intelsat clarifies that the requested term for the STA is 180 days from March
                          1, 2011 through August 27, 2011.

Second, Intelsat supplements its request for STA to further request that, to the
extent necessary, the Part 25 waivers previously granted to the Intelsat 705
spacecraft continue to apply at the 304.6° E.L. location, namely, the waivers of
                          Sections 25.202(g), 25.210(a)(1), 25.210(a)(3), 25.210(i)(1) and 25.211(a) of the
                          Commission’s rules.3

For the reasons set forth in its STA request, Intelsat respectfully requests that the
Commission grant that STA request as supplemented with this letter.
