Sorry to be persnickety, but you mean "was" rather than "is", correct? The reference to transfer orbit is
launch transfer orbit, correct? So the pyro valve was fired sometime in June, July, or August of 1997?

Stephen/Karl -- in response to your request, below is a statement regarding Intelsat 802's oxidizer tank.

The Intelsat 802 oxidizer tank is sealed off following the completion of transfer orbit. Specifically, the tank
is permanently isolated at the end of transfer orbit operations via a pyro valve.
