INTELSAT Washington, DC 20554 Re: Intelsat 705 De—orbit Call Sign: $2395 Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat License LLC (Intelsat") (£/k/a Intelsat North America LLC) hereby notifies the Commission that it has successfully de—orbited its Intelsat 705 satellite. The de—orbiting was completed on February 1, 2011. The final measured orbit of the Intelsat 705 satellite is 366.37 km above the geostationary arc, with an apogee and perigee of 290.36 km and 442.37 km > above the arc, respectively. In the course of de—orbiting the satellite, Intelsat depleted the propellant tanks, discharged the batteries, disconnected the power from the bus, and shut off the transmitters.
