(“SES Americom,” doing business as “SES WORLD 1 SKIES”), by its attorneys and pursuant to Section 1.65 of the Commission’s rules, hereby updates the above-referenced application for the SES-1 satellite. Specifically, SES WORLD SKIES advises the Commission that there has been a slight change in the planned location for in- orbit testing of SES-1 due to coordination of stationkeeping with another satellite operator. In the SES-1 amendment, SES WORLD SKIES indicated that in-orbit testing was planned to occur at 142° W.L.2 Instead, SES WORLD SKIES plans to perform the in-orbit testing at 142.5° W.L. SES WORLD SKIES requests that the Commission take this updated information into account in processing the SES-1 application as amended. This new location will be reflected in SES WORLD SKIES’s separate request for in-orbit testing authority. 1 On September 7, 2009, SES S.A. announced that the newly integrated operations of its two indirect subsidiaries, New Skies Satellites B.V. and SES Americom would be conducted under a single brand name, SES WORLD SKIES.
