         Call Sign: PAS—2R

Dear Ms. Dortch:

Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") hereby notifies the Commission that it has
successfully de—orbited its Intelsat 3R satellite. The de—orbiting was completed
on August 17, 2011. The final measured orbit of the Intelsat 3R satellite is
334.25 km above the geostationary arc, with an apogee and perigee of 382.53
km and 285.97 km above the arc, respectively. In the course of de—orbiting the
satellite, Intelsat depleted the propellant tanks, discharged the batteries,
disconnected the power from the bus, and shut off the transmitters.
