8. Description Iridium Satellite LLC respectfully requests extension of special temporary authority for an additional 10 days beginning February 5, 2010 through February 15, 2010 to provide Mobile Satellite Service in the 1616.0-1617.775 MHz band to accomodate the dramatic increase in demand for telephone service in support of relief efforts following the earthquake in Haiti.
