Request for 180—Day Special Temporary Authority to Operate Six New Low
Power Repeaters at Various Locations, File No. SAT—STA—20090721—00074

Dear Ms. Dortch:

On July 21, 2009, Sirius XM Radio Inc. ("Sirius XM") filed the above—referenced
application for authority to operate new terrestrial repeaters. Sirius XM herein clarifies that the
application requests authority for five new low power repeaters in the former Sirius Satellite Radio
Inc. ("Sirius") frequency band (2320—2332.5 MHz) and only one new low power repeater in the
former XM Radio Inc. frequency band (2332.5—2345 MHz). The first paragraph ofthe coverletter
had erroncouslystated that Sirius XM was requesting authority to operate five new low power
repeaters in the former Sirius band and two new low power repeaters in the former XM band. The
request for five new repeaters in the former Sirius band and one new repeater in the former XM
band is consistent with Exhibit A and other supporting documentation filed with the application.

Please direct any questions regarding this matter to the undersigned.
