8. Description Application for 60-day extension of STA originally granted on December 21, 2007 (FCC File No. SAT-STA-20070906-00120), and for which a 60-day extension to run through April 19, 2008 was requested (and remains pending) on February 13, 2008 (FCC File No. SAT-STA-20080213-00037) to permit continued operation of HCI and its indirect subsidiaries that hold FCC licenses under their current ownership/control pending final action on pending Transfer of Control applications (See, e.g., FCC File No. SAT-T/C-20070904-00119). A full description of the transaction is provided in the original application, as supplemented on Oct. 18, 2007. Because that application remains pending, HCI and its subsidiaries require an additional 60-day STA to maintain the status quo pending final action.
