ATTACHMENT Conditions of Authorization IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20070626-00086 Call Sign: S2641 Grant Date: December 17,2007 The request of DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC ("DIRECTV") for a modification of its license, File No. SAT-MOD-20070626-00086,' IS GRANTED. Accordingly, DIRECTV IS AUTHORIZED to operate its Fixed-Satellite Service (FS S) Ka-band space station, DIRECTV 10, at the 102.775' W.L. orbital location in the 18.3-18.8 GHz (Downlink) and 29.25-29.50/28.35-28.60 GHz (Uplink) frequency bands. This authorization is granted in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in DIRECTV's application, this Attachment, and the Commission's rules: 1. DIRECTV must coordinate all of its Ka-band dowiiliiik operations with Federal fixed-satellite systems, both geostationary and non-geostationary, in accordance with footnote US334 to the Table of Frequency Allocations, 47 C.F.R. 5 2.106. Absent a coordination agreement pursuant to footnote US3 34, DIRECTV shall operate its Ka- band downlinks on a non-harmful interference basis with regards to Federal systeins in the 18.3-18.8 and 19.7-20.2 GHz bands and inust terminate its Ka-band downlink operations immediately in the event that such operations cause harmful interference into operating Federal systems. In addition, DIRECTV must accept interference from such systems absent a coordination agreement pursuant to footnote US3 34. 2. DIRECTV must maintain the DIRECTV 10 satellite at 102.775' W.L. with +/- 0.05 degree longitudinal stationkeeping. See 47 C.F.R. $ 25.21 O(j). 3. Other than the change in orbital location of the DIRECTV 10 satellite from 102.800" W.L. to 102.775' W.L., the coiiditions of DIRECTV's existing authorization for the satellite remain uiichaiiged. 4. DIRECTV's request for extension of Special Temporary Authority, File No. SAT-STA-2007 1024-00146, IS GRANTED to the extent necessary, subject to the terms and conditions specified in File No. SAT-STA-200708 16-001 15, and otherwise IS DISMISSED AS MOOT. 5 . DIRECTV is afforded thirty days from the date of release of this authorization to decline this authorization as conditioned. Failure to respond within this period will constitute formal acceptance of the authorization as conditioned. The application was placed on public notice as accepted for filing on September 14,2007.
