ATTACHMENT INTELSAT 602 Call Sign (S2389) SAT—STA—20070605—00077 SAT—STA—20070613—00083 June 21, 2007 Intelsat North America LLC‘s (Intelsat North America‘s) requests, File Nos. SAT—STA— 20070605—00077 and SAT—STA—20070613—00083, for Special Temporary Authority (STA), ARE GRANTED. Accordingly, Intelsat North America IS AUTHORIZED to continue to conduct space station Telemetry, Tracking, and Control (TT&C) operations for an additional thirty days‘ during the relocation of INTELSAT 602 satellite (Call Sign: $2389) from the 150.5° E.L. orbital location to the 157° E.L. orbital location. Intelsat North America is also authorized to operate the INTELSAT 602 satellite in the following C—band frequencies (3625—4200 MHz and 5850—6425 MHz) and Ku—band frequencies (10.95—11.2 GHz and 11.45—11.7 GHz and 14.0—14.5 GHz) at the 157° E.L. orbital location for sixty days from June 25, 2007 through August 23, 2007, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in its application, this Attachment and the Federal Communications Commission‘s (Commission) Rules. 1. During the drift of the INTELSAT 602 satellite from 150.5° E.L. to 157° E.L, Intelsat North America shall not operate the communications payload on the satellite. 2. All operations shall be on an unprotected and non—harmful interference basis, i. e., Intelsat North America shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from interference caused to it by, any other lawfully operating radiocommunication system. In the event of any harmful interference as a result of Intelsat North America‘s UJ operations during relocation or during temporary operations at the 157° E.L. orbital location, Intelsat North America shall cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference and shall inform the FCC, in writing, immediately of such an event. 4. While at the 157° E.L. orbital location, Intelsat North America shall maintain the INTELSAT 602 spacecraft with an east/west longitudinal station—keeping tolerance of 0.05 degrees. ‘ Intelsat North America was previously granted a STA for TT&C operations during the drift of the INTELSAT 602 satellite to the 157° E.L. orbital location. See Intelsat North America LLC‘s Request for Special Temporary Authority for INTELSAT 602 (File No. SAT—STA20070511—00070) (DA 07—2104).

5. Intelsat North America shall operate the INTELSAT 602 satellite at 157° E.L in compliance with all existing coordination agreements. 6. Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this special temporary authority is solely at Intelsat North America‘s own risk. 7. Grant of this special temporary authority is without prejudice to action on Intelsat North émerica’s pending application IBFS File No. SAT—MOD—20070511— 00071. 8. Intelsat North America is afforded thirty days from the date of this action to decline this authorization as conditioned. Failure to respond within this period will constitute formal acceptance of the authorization as conditioned. 9. This action is used pursuant to Section 0.261 of the Commission‘s rules on delegated authority, 47 C.F.R. § 0.261, and is effective upon grant.
