RE: Application of Sirius Radio, Inc. for Authority to Operate Digital Audio Radio
                                 Service Terrestrial Repeaters
FCC Files No. SAT—STA—20061013—00121 and SAT—STA—20061013—00122

         Dear Ms. Dortch:

In October of 2006, Sirius Satellite Radio, Inc. voluntarily shut down 11 terrestrial repeaters in
order to bring them into compliance with FCC regulations. After bringing said repeaters into
compliance, Sirius Satellite Radio, Inc. applied to the FCC, on October 10, 2006, for authority to
        recommence operating these repeaters.

As of the date of this letter, these repeaters are still off.

I am a subscriber to Sirius Satellite Radio. I have a daily north—south commute in a rural area of
Northeast Georgia, at a point almost equidistant between the Atlanta, Georgia repeater and the
        Greenville, South Carolina repeater.

Ever since these repeaters went down, I have been able to receive little to no satellite radio
service on my daily commute. My satellite radio (which I have upgraded twice in an attempt to
improve service) only works for about 5 minutes out of my hour—long commute. As soon as I am
out of range of the Atlanta area, my satellite radio ceases to function. My service was perfect
and completely uninterrupted prior to these repeaters being shut down.

I am extremely frustrated. I would encourage the FCC to streamline this matter, and grant Sirius
permission to operate these upgraded repeaters as soon as possible. As of now, I am paying a
subscription fee for a service which is almost totally inoperable in my vehicle on my daily
commute, and which worked flawlessly before these repeaters were shut down.

Thank you for your consideration of this letter.

        With kind regards
         ~7//0 o
