A U.S. licensed satellite, AMC-16, has been granted temporary authority to provide services in the 18.6-18.8 GHd19.7 to 20.2 GHz (space to Earth) and 28.4-28.6D9.5-30.0 GHz (Earth to space) frequency bands from the 118.75' W.L. geostationary orbital location. The satellite will be operated in accordance with the Table of Frequency Allocations of the Radio Regulations. Operations have been authorized only pursuant to ITU Radio Regulation 4.4. SES Americom has demonstrated that the intended operations will not cause harmful interference to other adjacent operating satellite systems. This information is being submitted for its possible relevance to the provisions of Article 8 of the Radio Regulations.
