This applicaton requests a 30−day extension of the Special Temporary Authority (’STA’) previously granted to EchoStar to operate EchoStar 6 temporarily at 110.35W for traffic transfer purposes. See SAT−STA−20060303−00022 (granted Mar. 28, 2006). Traffic transfer has been completed, but EchoStar’s request for an STA to move EchoStar 6 to 110.4W and to 9. Description This applicaton requests a 30−day extension of the Special Temporary Authority (’STA’) previously granted to EchoStar to operate EchoStar 6 temporarily at 110.35W for traffic transfer purposes. See SAT−STA−20060303−00022 (granted Mar. 28, 2006). Traffic transfer has been completed, but EchoStar’s request for an STA to move EchoStar 6 to 110.4W and to store it there temporarily as an in−orbit spare is still pending before the Commission. See SAT−STA−20060303−00023 (accepted for filing on Mar. 10, 2006). The instant application is being filed to enable EchoStar 6 to remain at 110.35W pending grant of the STA to move and store the satellite at 110.4W. 5
