8. Description Iridium Satellite LLC hereby requests Special Temporary Authorization, for 30 days, to test and commence Mobile Satellite Service in the 1616-1618.25 MHz band in order to accommodate the increased demand for telephone service in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

9. By checking Yes, the undersigned certifies that neither applicant nor any other party to the application is subject to a denial of Federal benefits that includes FCC benefits pursuant to Section 5301 of the Anti-Drug Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C.
