The Administration of the United States of America would like to inform the TTthat a
U.S. licensed satellite, EchoStar—4, has been authorized to provide services in the 12.2—
12.7/17.3 — 17.8 GHz bands from the 77W.. geostationary orbit location.

The satellite will be operated in accordance with the Table of Frequency Allocations of
the Radio Regulations.

EchoStar has demonstrated that the intended operations will not cause potential excess
interference to other adjacent operating satelite systems. However, these operations
have been authorized only pursuant to TTU Radio Regulations 4.4.
This information is being submitted for its possible relevance to the provisions of Article
8 of the Radio Regulations.
