Dear Ms. Donh,

               In accordance with Section 1.1206 of the Commission‘s Rules, 47 C.FR. § . 1206,
EchoStar Satellite LLC. (‘EchoStar") and SES Americom, Inc. (°SES") submit this etter to report that,
on July 11, 2005, the undersigned on behalf of EchoStar and Nancy Eskenazi of SES had a telephone
conversation with Rod Porter ofthe Interational Bureau regarding the above—referenced matter.

During that conversation, EchoStar and SES set forth the status of QuetzSat Directo‘s
application for a DTH eoncession from the Mexican government. The parties had expected this
concession to be granted by July 10, 2005 In fact, it has been cleared by only one of the two relevant
Mexican agencies (COFETEL). EchoStar and SES remain hopeful that SCT will also be executing the
concession soon. In addition, EchoStar noted that the EchoStar 4 satellite reached the 77° W.L. orbital
location and commenced operations on July 9, 2005.
