Dear Ms. Dortch,

                 In accordance with Section 1.1206 of the Commission’s Rules, 47 C.F.R. 5 1.1206,
EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. (“EchoStar”) on behalf of itself and SES Amerkom, Inc. (“SES”) submits this
letter to report that, on June 30,2005, representatives of EchoStar and SES met with Rod Porter, Karl
Kensinger, Jay Whaley, Robert Nelson, Cindy Spiers, Gardner Foster, John Martin and Cassandra
Thomas of the International Bureau regarding the above-referenced matter.

               At the meeting, EchoStar and SES discussed the provision of additional services to the
United States and Mexico from the EchoStar 4 satellite at 77” W.L. With respect to service to Mexico,
the parties expect that the Mexican concession for QuetzSat Direct0 to provide direct-to-home services
to Mexico would be granted before July 10,2005.
