arracimEnt mvvELsAT o5 saT—sra—20041018—00202 Call Sign 52394 October 21, 2004 D Intelsat LLC‘s (Intelsat)request, File No. SAT—STA—20041018—00202, for Special Temporary Authority (STA), toimmediately beain drifing the INTELSAT 605 satelite from its currentlocationat 32.9° E.L. to 178.0° EL. and temporarily stop atthe 77 W.L. orbita loction IS GRANTED, Accordingly Intelsais authorized to operate the INTELSAT 605 (Call Sizn $2394) stelite‘s Tracking, Telemetry, Command, and Monitoring (TTC&M) during the drf t the 178.0° EL. orbital location and during ts temporary stop at 77° W.L., for the period ofOctober 21, 2004 until December 20, 2004, in accordance withthe terms, conditions, and technical specifiations set fort in its application, this Attachment and the Federal Communications Commission‘s (Commission) Rules. 2 During the drif ofthsatelite from 32.9° EL. to 178.0°EL and during is temporary stop at 77° W.L, Intelsatshall mt aperate the communications payload on the INTELSAT 605 satelite. 3 Intelsatshall coordinate all ots TTC&M operations with existing gcostationary satelfites to ensure that no unacceptable interference result from its TTC&M operations during its drif. ® During the drift ofthe satelite from 32.9° EL. to 178.0° EL and during ts temporary stop at 77° WL.no harmfulinterference shall be caused by the INTELSAT 605 satelte to any other lawfully operating in—orbit satelite. Operations of the INTELSAT 605 satellteshall cease immediately upon notification of such iterference and Intelst shail inform the Commission in writingimmediately of such an event. 5 Intelsat is required to accept iterference from other lawfully operatingin—orbit sateltes. 0 Any action taken or expense incured asa esult ooperations pursuanttothis special temporary authorit is solelyatIntelst‘s own risk 7 Grant ofthe STA is without prejudice to ouraction on Intelsat‘s pending STA and modification applications, File Nos.
