Withdrawal of Pending Request for C-band Authority,
                                   File No. SAT-STA-20030402-00061

       Dear Ms. Dortch:

SES Americom, Inc. (“SESAmericom”), by its attorneys, hereby
withdraws, to the extent not already acted upon, its application File No. SAT-STA-
       20030402-00061 (the “AMC-2 STA”).

The AMC-2 STA sought authority to provide C- and Ku-band services
from the 105” W.L. orbital location. In a n order released July 7, 2003, the Satellite
Division acted on the uncontested portions of the AMC-2 STA, granting SES
Americom conditional authority for Ku-band operations and C-band TT8zC.1 No
action was taken with respect to SES Americom’s request for authority to operate
       the C-band communications payload.

That request is now moot. SES Americom last month submitted a
modification application under the Commission’s fleet management procedures to
relocate AMC-2 from 105”W.L. to 85’ W.L.2 SES Americom recently commenced
relocation of AMC-2 pursuant to that authority.

I Application by SES Americom, Inc. for Special Temporary Authority to
Operate AMC-2 ut 105” W.L.,Order and Authorization, 18 FCC Rcd 13143 (Sat. Div.
       2003) (‘AMC-2 Order”).

       2 File No. SAT-MOD-20050527-00110.
