The Department of Defense supports the relocation of the MARISAT F—1l1 AOR satellite to 106° W.L. and the Application is unopposed. COMSAT General herein requests Special Temporary Authority to enable it to begin the relocation of the MARISAT AOR satellite on January 26, 1990. A grant of Special Temporary Authority will enable COMSAT General to meet its contract obligation to INMARSAT and permit the U.S. Signatory to INMARSAT to meet the service requirements of its MSS customer, in furtherance of the public interest.
