June 29, 2017 VIA IBFS Federal Communications Commission 445 Tewlfth Street, SW Washington, DC 20554 Subject: Amazonas-1 De-orbiting (Call Sign: S2622) HISPASAT, S.A. (“HISPASAT”) hereby notifies the Commission that it has successfully de-orbited AMAZONAS-1 satellite. The de-orbiting was completed on June 23, 2017. The final measured orbit of AMAZONAS-1 is 519.38 km above the stationary arc, with an apogee and perigee of 566.75 km and 472.02 km above the arc, respectively.
