SAT-PPL-20120823-00140 and SAT-PPL-20131120-00137, Request to Update the Space Station Approval List t Dear Ms. Dortch: As the Commission is aware, Satelites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. (“Satelites Mexicanos”) has been purchased by Eutelsat and now does business as Eutelsat Americas. Satelites Mexicanos notified the Commission of the planned transfer of control affecting its market access grants for certain satellites, including Satmex 8 (now designated EUTELSAT 117WA, Call Sign S2873), and the transaction was consummated after approval by the Commission.1 Currently, the entry for the EUTELSAT 117WA (Satmex 8) satellite on the Space Station Approval List (“SSAL”) lists Eutelsat S.A. as the grantee and France as the satellite licensing administration.2 Eutelsat Americas respectfully requests that this entry be updated in the next release of the SSAL to reflect Satelites Mexicanos as the grantee and Mexico as the licensing administration.
