Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Correction of Typographical Error New Skies Satellites, B.V., File No. SAT-PPL-200808 1 1-00152 Dear Ms. Dortch: It has come to our attention that the above referenced application to add the NSS-9 satellite to the Commission’s Permitted Space Station List contains a typographical error. Specifically, the response to Question 24 on Form 3 12 indicates that the satellite will operate in both the C-band and Ku-band. As repeatedly and consistently demonstrated throughout the remainder of the application materials, however, we request only that NSS-9 be added to the Permitted List for service in the C-band. Checking the box for Ku-band in response to Question 24 was a typographical error. We hereby confirm that the application should relate solely to the C-band, and request that the typographical error indicating operation in the Ku-band be removed.
