SAT—PDR—20021010—00196 and SAT— WAV—20031202—00352; S2474 Notification of Final Orbit Parameters Dear Ms. Dortch: Telesat Brasil Capacidade de Satelites Ltda. ("Telesat"), by its counsel, hereby notifies the Commission of the end—of—life measures taken for Estrela do Sul 1 (Telstar 14). The satellite ceased regular operation on November 7, 2011. Telesat completed end—of—life maneuvers for the satellite on November 17, 2011, placing it in an orbital position with an apogee of 482 km above the geostationary orbit and a perigee of 387 km above the geostationary orbit. The remaining fuel on the satellite has been consumed or vented,; remaining pressurant has been vented; all the electronics have been powered down and disabled,; all communications with the satellite have ceased,; and the batteries have been left in a permanent state of discharge.
