IntematbooJBureau Dear Ms. Dortch, Pursuant to Section 25.113(f) of the Commission's Rules, 47 c.P.R. § 25.113(f), EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. ("EchoStar") hereby notifies the Commission of the commencement of construction of EchoStar XI, a satellite in the Direct Broadcast Satellite ("DBS") service, at its own risk. EchoStar XI will be based on Space SystemsILoral's 1300 platform, and is slated to support EchoStar's DISH Network service. EchoStar currently plans to use the new satellite at one of its licensed orbital locations, but has not yet made a final decision as to the optimal deployment of the satellite. EchoStar will timely file an appropriate modification application with the Commission after such a decision has been made. Please contact the undersigned if you have any questions about this notice.
