Re: SES Satellites (Gibraltar) Ltd. Modification to U.S. Market Access for SES-15
File No. SAT-MPL-20160718-00063 (Call Sign S2951)

Dear Ms. Dortch:

SES Satellites (Gibraltar) Ltd. (“SES”), by its attorney and pursuant to Section 1.65 of the
Commission’s rules, hereby updates the record regarding the above-referenced petition, which
seeks to modify SES’s authority to use the SES-15 satellite to serve the U.S. market to include
the extended C- and L-band frequencies used by the Wide Area Augmentation System
(“WAAS”) payload on the satellite. Specifically, SES confirms that in addition to the
International Telecommunication Union (“ITU”) filings of the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority
previously identified by SES, the SES-15 WAAS payload frequencies have been submitted for
coordination pursuant to the following Luxembourg filings with the ITU:

      • LUX-G9-38
      • LUX-G9-38-A

Please address any questions regarding this matter to the undersigned.

Respectfully submitted,

/s/ Karis A. Hastings
