Re:       Notice of Commencement of Inclined Orbit Operations for SPACEWAY 1, Call Sign S2191

Dear Ms. Dortch:

DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC (“DIRECTV”), by its undersigned counsel and pursuant to Section
25.280(a) of the Federal Communications Commission’s (“Commission”) rules,1 hereby notifies
the Commission of the commencement of inclined orbit operations for DIRECTV’s SPACEWAY 1
satellite.2 The information required under Section 25.280(a) of the Commission’s rules is set
forth below:

(1) The operator’s name is DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC.

(2) SPACEWAY 1 commenced inclined orbit operation on February 16, 2019. The last
    north/south station‐keeping maneuver occurred on February 14, 2019.

(3) The initial inclination was 0.044.

(4) The rate of change in inclination per year is as follows:

(5) The expected end‐of‐life of the satellite accounting for inclined orbit operation is December
    2025.
