Dear Ms. Dortch:

Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") hereby notifies the Commission thatit has successfully de—orbited its
Intelsat 701 satellite. De—orbit was completed on May 25, 2017. The final measured orbit of the Intelsat
701 satellite is 271.5 km above the geostationary arc, with an apogee and perigee of 264 km and 279 km
above the arc, respectively. In the course of de—orbiting the satellite, Intelsat depleted the propellant
tanks, discharged the batteries, disconnected the power from the bus, and shut off the transmitters.
