SAT—MOD—20150911—00063 and SAT—AMD—20151221—00084, to modify the authorization for the EchoStar 15 space station (Call Sign $2811) is GRANTED. Specifically, EchoStar is authorized to operate EchoStar 15 as an in—orbit spare at the 61.65° W.L. orbital location, instead of its currently authorized 45.1° W.L. orbital location.‘ EchoStar 15 is authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) operations on the following center frequencies: 12692.0 MHz, 12693.0 MHz, 12694.5 MHz, 12698.5 MHz (space—to—Earth), and 17791.5 MHz and 17793.5 MHz (Earth—to—space). Operations under this authorization must be in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in EchoStar‘s application, as supplemented, the Federal Communications Commission‘s rules not waived herein, and are subject to the following conditions: 1. All operations must be on an unprotected and non—harmful interference basis, i. e., the EchoStar 15 space station must not cause harmful interference to, and must not claim protection from interference caused to it by, any other lawfully operating station. In the event of any harmful interference, EchoStar must cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference, and must inform the Commission, in writing, immediately of such an event. 2. EchoStar must maintain its EchoStar 15 spacecraft with an east/west longitudinal station— keeping tolerance of + 0.05 degrees of the 61.65° E.L. orbital location. 3. Grant of this modification application does not change the expiration date of the authorization for EchoStar 15, which is August 6, 2020. 4. EchoStar is afforded 30 days from the date of release of this action to decline this authorization as conditioned. Failure to respond within this period will constitute formal acceptance of the authorization as conditioned. 5.
