Attachment to Grant DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC IBFS File No. SAT—MOD—20140902—00098 Call Sign $2861 The application of DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC (DIRECTV), IBFS File No. SAT—MOD— 20140902—00098, to modify the authorization for its DIRECTV KU—79W geostationary—satellite orbit space station (Call Sign $2861) is GRANTED. Accordingly, DIRECTV is authorized to conduct Telemetry, Tracking, and Command (TT&C) functions necessary to operate DIRECTV KU—7I9W at the 78.8° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 11.70025 GHz and 11.70125 GHz (space—to—Earth); and 14.0005 GHz and 14.4965 GHz (Earth—to—space); instead of its previously authorized center frequencies of 11.704 GHz and 11.705 GHz (space—to— Earth); and 14.005 GHz and 14.495 GHz (Earth—to—space).‘ DIRECTV‘s existing authorization to construct, launch, and operate DIRECTV KU—79W to provide Fixed—Satellite Service (FSS) in the 11.7—12.2 GHz (space—to—Earth) and 14.0—14.5 GHz (Earth—to—space) frequency bands at the 78.8° W.L. orbital location remains otherwise unchanged. This authorization must be in accordance with the technical specifications set forth in DIRECTV‘s application, as supplemented, DIRECTV‘s current authorization as amended and modified, Federal Communication Commission rules not waived herein, and the following conditions: 1. REQUEST FOR MINOR MODIFICATION DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC hereby requests that its authorization to launch and operate DIRECTV KU—79W, a Ku—band satellite (with a 17/24 GHz BSS payload), at the nominal 79° W.L. orbital location‘ be modified solely to reflect different telemetry, tracking and command ("TT&C") frequencies. At present, DIRECTV is authorized to use frequencies centered at 11704 MHz and 11705 MHz for telemetry and 14005 MHz and 14495 MHz for command functions." As reflected in the attached Schedule S, DIRECTV requests that these frequencies be revised to the following: Telemetry: 11700.25 MHz and 11701.25 MHz Command: 14000.5 MHz and 14496.5 MHz The telemetry and command link performance, antenna patterns, and emission designators remain unchanged.
