REQUEST FOR MINOR MODIFICATION DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC hereby requests that its authorization to launch and operate DIRECTV KU-79W, a Ku-band satellite (with a 17/24 GHz BSS payload), at the nominal 79° W.L. orbital location 1 be modified solely to reflect different telemetry, tracking and command (“TT&C”) frequencies. At present, DIRECTV is authorized to use frequencies centered at 11704 MHz and 11705 MHz for telemetry and 14005 MHz and 14495 MHz for command functions. 2 As reflected in the attached Schedule S, DIRECTV requests that these frequencies be revised to the following: Telemetry: 11700.25 MHz and 11701.25 MHz Command: 14000.5 MHz and 14496.5 MHz The telemetry and command link performance, antenna patterns, and emission designators remain unchanged.
