Dear Ms. Dortch: In response to questions from Commission staff, Intelsat License LLC (“Intelsat”) hereby supplements its above-referenced pending modification application to extend the license term for the Intelsat 8 satellite (call sign S2460) until June 30, 2016, the satellite’s estimated end of service life. The Intelsat 8 power subsystems have experienced some redundancy loss, which has neither affected normal operations nor resulted in a single point of failure.
