Dear Mr. Genachowski,

I would like to personally thank the FCC for withdrawing the January 2011 waiver that allowed
LightSquared to proceed with its planned wireless network and modifying the LightSquared's
satellite license to prohibit LightSquared from building any ground‐based wireless network.

With the recent interference studies it clearly demonstrate that LightSquared's network
interferes with GPS and that there are no practical fixes to solve that interference.

I am a Professional Land Surveyor located in central Pennsylvania and my business depends
entirely on high accuarcy GPS signal. Any interference which would degrade this required high
accuracy would be devastating to my business. My clients, who are both private and
government agencies, depend on the high accuracy GPS survey data which I provide. If GPS
became unavailable or unreliable my businees would become yet another business "out of
business".

While more capacity for wireless broadband services is important, it should not come at the
expense of GPS, which is critical to our country's economy, growth and national defense.

All of the engineering studies conducted, including those recently released by the government
agency in charge of federal radio spectrum management, clearly show that LightSquared's
proposed network causes interference and that there are no current or proposed remedies to
fix this interference.

Thank you again for preventing LightSquared to proceed.
