Dear Assistant Secretary Strickling:

As a partner in a lawfirm located in New York‘s Capital Region with clients from rural parts of
New York State, I know firsthand the problems that are caused by a lack wireless broadband
coverage.

I am writing to express my support for LightSquared‘s effort to develop their wireless broadband
network. I have heard that they are prepared to invest over $14 billion to bring coverage to over
260 million people across the country with a focus on helping rural areas of our state and
country.

Please do all that you can to bring some sanity to the process in Washington and ensure
LightSquared is given a fair chance to demonstrate that their network and our nation‘s GPS
devices can work in harmony.
