Subject: In the Matter of LightSquared Subsidiary LLC Request for Modification of its
Authority for an Ancillary Terrestrial Component; SAT—MOD—20101 118—00239

Dear Ms. Dortch:

On behalf of the nearly 3500 member of the Ohio Pharmacists Association, I am writing in support of the
Commission‘s process to solve technical problems holding up LightSquared‘s efforts to deploy a national
4G—LTE wireless network. This hybrid network, combining satellite and terrestrial wireless capability, will
bring broadband wireless to many more Americans, making a significant positive difference to the country.

Broadband wireless infrastructure is increasingly essential to American life. Most of the attention goes to
consumer devices and applications like streaming video and popular games — but broadband wireless also is
an important tool for many businesses, large and small. It helps improve safety, productivity and can be an
important tool for consumer education — all of which are especially important to pharmacy owners and
pharmacists. Our members here in Ohio could greatly benefit by allowing the company to move forward
with their efforts.

The FCC is well aware that broadband demand will lag capacity if the government fails to pave the way for
private investment and innovation in broadband technologies. That‘s why I think it‘s crucial that the FCC is
moving decisively to resoive technical issues and allow LightSquared to move forward with its important
new network.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

K\ny
