                            MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME

Pursuant to Section 1.46 of the Commission‘s Rules, LightSquared Sul%;sidier A

LLC ("LightSquared") hereby requests extensions of time for filing (1) oppos;;:'tio to

the Petition for Reconsideration ("Petition")‘ that was filed by Deere & Company

("Deere") in the above—captioned proceeding and (2) replies to the oppositions.

LightSquared asks that the due dates for such filings be extended so as to match the due

dates for filing oppositions and replies in connection with the Applications for Review

filed by other parties in the same proceeding.2 The specific filing dates hereby

requested are for oppositions to Deere‘s Petition to be due on or before March 14, 2011,

instead of March 10, 2011, and for replies to said oppositions to be due on or before

March 29, 2011, instead of March 17, 2011.

The above dates have been calculated based upon the assumption that

LightSquared‘s opposition to the Applications for Review will be served by mail, which

1 Deere Petition for Reconsideration, File No. SAT—MOD—20101118—00239 (Feb. 25, 2011).
2 The parties filing Applications for Review are Lockheed Martin Corporation, American Congress on
Surveying and Mapping, Aviation Spectrum Resources, Inc., U.S. GPS Industry Council, Tom Stansell,
Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and General Aviation Manufacturers Association.

                                            _7.

LightSquared hereby commits to doing. Under Section 1.4(h) of the Commission‘s

Rules, if LightSquared serves its opposition by mail, then parties will be given an

additional three days, not counting holidays, to reply.

There is some overlap of issues raised in the Petition and the various

Applications for Review. Synchronizing the due dates for oppositions and replies,

therefore, will make for a more efficient process. Among other things, having common

filing deadlines will eliminate the possibility of using pleadings that are responsive to

the Applications for Review, and in the ordinary course would be filed later, as an

opportunity to address an extra time arguments made in pleadings that are responsive

to the Petition.

Counsel for LightSquared has consulted with counsel for Deere with respect to

the filing of this motion and has been authorized by Deere‘s counsel to state that Deere

consents to the requested extension.

                                          Respectfully submitted,
