contactMEO Communications, LLC Attachment 1 TT&C CHARACTERISTICS OF THE @CONTACT SATELLITE NETWORK This submission is in response to the Commission’srequest for specific TT&C frequencies in its Order and Authorization, DA 06-864, granting authority to contactMEO Communications, LLC. All other relevant technical information is already on file with the Commission and to the extent necessary is included herein by reference. TT&C will be provided for each satellite as summarized below. Four 2 MHz segments within the service bands (29.097-29.099 GHz, 28.601-28.603 GHz, 19.297-19.299 GHz, and 18.801- 18.803 GHz) are identified for TT&C operations to facilitate coordination and avoid interference. These can alternately be used for normal on-orbit operation or transfer-orbit and on-orbit emergency mode. Normal on-orbit TT&C will be provided through the high-gain COM antennas. The transfer orbit and on-orbit emergency TT&C will be provided via omnidirectional antennas. These are denoted as beams “TLMO” and “CMDO” in the Schedule S submission for each Call sign.
