We wish to inform you that we expect the satellite operations at the 118.75W orbital position will be terminated as earlier as May 1, 2007, once traffic has been moved from the AMC-16 satellite to Telesat Canada's new Anik F3 satellite. Telesat Canada advises us that following the completion of traffic transfer, it plans to terminate its arrangements for the use of the AMC-16 satellite with SES Americom. They further advise that the satellite will be available as early as May 1, 2007 for SES Americom to commence the satellite's relocation from the 118.75W orbital position.
In accordance with understanding 2 of our informal understandings, our view is that such relocation activities would be subject to licensing by the FCC, and that this E-Mail constitutes advance written notice, pursuant to informal understanding 3.
