Re:    Notice of Commencement of Inclined Orbit Operations for Intelsat 701
       Call Sign S2400

Dear Ms. Dortch:

        Pursuant to Section 25.280(a) of the Commission's rules (47 C.F.R. §
25.280(a)), Intelsat License LLC hereby notifies the FCC of the
commencement of inclined orbit operations for Intelsat 701, which currently is
drifting to 72.1º E.L.1 Set forth below is the information required by the
Commission.

(1)    The operator's name is Intelsat License LLC.

(2)    The satellite is expected to leave the 0.05° inclination control box on
       December 8, 2011. The last north/south station-keeping maneuver
       occurred on November 9, 2011.

(3)    The initial inclination (after the last north/south station-keeping
       maneuver) was 0.046º.

(4)    The rate of change in inclination per year is as follows:
       2011 – 0.839º per year
       2012 – 0.812° per year
       2013 – 0.787° per year
       2014 – 0.771° per year
       2015 – 0.765° per year

(5)    The expected end-of-life of the satellite accounting for inclined orbit
       operations is January 2033.
