                      for Call Signs S2663, S2753, S2834, and S2852

Dear Ms. Dortch:

Hughes Network Systems, LLC (“Hughes”), by its attorneys and pursuant to
Sections 25.145(f)(1) and 25.210(l) of the Commission’s Rules, hereby files this report
concerning its above-referenced Ka-band satellite networks.

SPACEWAY 3 (Call Sign S2663) and EchoStar XVII (Call Sign S2753) are both
on station and in good operating order. EchoStar XVII was successfully launched in July
2012, and entered commercial service in October 2012. Hughes was issued a Letter of
Intent authorization in 2012 for the Jupiter 97W space station at 97º W.L. (Call Sign
S2834) and a license application grant for the Jupiter 77W space station at 77º W.L. (Call
Sign S2852). Hughes has contracted for the construction of the Jupiter 97W space station
in anticipation of a 2016 launch. As of the date of this filing, Hughes has not concluded a
contract for the Jupiter 77W space station.

Pursuant to Section 25.145(f)(1)(ii) of the Commission’s Rules, Hughes reports
that there have been no non-scheduled space station outages for more than thirty minutes
during the reporting period (i.e., from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013) for either
SPACEWAY 3 or EchoStar XVII.
