     Intelsat LLC ("Intelsat") recently filed the above—referenced application to modify the
     Hicense for INTELSAT 602 to allow its operation at the 150.5° EL. orbital location.‘ On
     May 19, 2005, Intelsatinformed the Commission by letter that Intelsat was attempting to
     obtain from the government of Indonesia written confirmation ofstatements made by
     Indosatin a May 9, 2005 lettethat was included with the above—referenced application
     Specifically, Intelsat sought confirmation ofIndosat‘s statements acknowledaing that
     Intelsat‘s "operation of INTELSAT 602 at 150.5° E.L.‘is "govemed by the authorization
     provided by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.""
     Enclosed please find a copy of a letter dated June 1, 2005 from the government of
     Indonesia, in which the goverment of Indonesia confirms that it has licensed Indosat to
     operate a satelite at 150.5° E.L., and that the operation of INTELSAT 602 at 150.5° E.
     is govered by a license provided by the FCC, and not Indonesia. Intelsatrespectfully
     requests that the Commission make the June 1, 2008 letter from the govemment of
     Indonesia a part ofthe record in this proceeding.

         has not, however, lcensed Intelsalls operation of INTELSAT 602 at 150.6° EL.
         which we recognize is governed bythe authorization provided by the U.S. Federal
         Communications Commission.
         This confmation to the reference inentioned above is subject to the complance
         of the satelite operation with the tiflecommunication laws and regulations of the
         Republof Indonesia.
