Dortch Secretary Federal Communications Commission Byc 236 Massachusetts Avenue, N.E., Suite 110 Washington, DC 20002 Re: Application to Modify License for INTELSAT 602 (82389) File No. SAT—MOD—20050512—00098 Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat LLC (‘Intelsat") recently filed the above—referenced application to modify the Hicense for INTELSAT 602 to allowits operation atthe 150.5° EL. orbital location. In Exhibit B to that application, Intelsat supplied a May 9, 2005 letter from Indosat, in which Indosat stated, among other things, that Indonesia has licensed Indosat to operate a satelliteat 150.5° EL. and that the operation of INTELSAT 602 at 150.5° EL. is governed by a license provided by the FCC, and not Indonesia Intelsat hereby informs the Commission that Intelsat currently iattempting to obtain from the government of Indonesia written confimation of the statements made by Indosat in its May 9, 2005 letter. Should Intelsat obtain such a confirmation, we will provide a copy to the Commission so that it can be made part of the record in this proceeding. Sincerely, Susan H.
