   Dear Mr. Warren:

   On May 11, 2005, ORBIMAGE, Inc. filed the above—captioned application for authority to modifyits
   existing license to add an additional satellite, OrbView—5, to its constellation.       An examination of the
   application has revealed that further clarification and additional information are necessary to facilitate the
   coordination between FCC and NTIA. We request that ORBIMAGE, Inc. provide the following
   information:

         1.   Please provide the frequency response of the filter described in Exhibit 2, Technical Annex, page
              7 of your application, or the filtered signal‘s spectrum. Are these characteristics the same as those
              ofthe current constellation?

              Please provide the maximum power spectral density (PSD) in the frequency range of 8400 MHz —
        to




              8450 MHz for the Telemetry Downlink?

         3.   Since OrbView—5 is sun—synchronous, please provide the crossing time of the ascending node?

   Please provide the requested information as a supplement to the above referenced application within 30
   days of this letter. If no supplement is received within 30 days ofthis letter, the Commission may dismiss
   your application without prejudice as defective.
