               Dear Ms. Dortch:

Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") hereby notifies the Commissgion that it has
successfully de—orbited its Intelsat 602 satellite. The de—orbiting was
completed on July 30, 2012. The final measured orbit of the Intelsat 602
satellite is 357.2 km above the geostationary arc, with an apogee and perigee of
336.3 km and 378.1 km above the arc, respectively. In the course of de—
orbiting the satellite, Intelsat depleted the propellant tanks, discharged the
batteries, disconnected the power from the bus, and shut off the transmitters.
