Attachment By this grant we authorize Intelsat LLC to deploy its INTELSAT 906 satellite at 64.15” E.L. rather than 27.5” W.L. as previously authorized, subject to the following condition:’ Intelsat LLC will operate its INTELSAT 906 satellite in compliance with all existing coordination agreements. I Upon deployment, the INTELSAT 906 satellite will replace the existing INTELSAT 804 satellite at the 64.15” E.L. location. At this time we would also like to clarify a clerical error made in Appendix A of the INTELSAT Licensing Order (See Application of Intelsat LLC for Authority to Operate, and to Further Construct, Launch, and Operate C-band and Ku-band Satellites that Form a Global Communications System in Geostationary Orbit, Memorandum Opinion Order and Authorization, 15 FCC Red 15460, recon. denied, 15 FCC Red 25234 (2000), further proceedings, 16 FCC Red 12280 (200 1) (“‘INTELSATLicensing Order”). The INTELSAT 804 satellite was incorrectly listed as being licensed at the 64.0” E.L. orbital location; it should have been listed at the 64.15” E.L. location.

Specifically, Intelsat requests authority to make the following modification to its authorization for the satellite listed below: 1. INTELSAT 906 (S24 lo), File Nos. SAT-LOA- 19-00024; SAT- MOD-200203 15-00038. Intelsat requests modification of its license to permit the deployment of the JNTELSAT 906 satellite at 64.15’ E.L. in October/November 2002 rather than at 27.5’W.L. in November 2002. As explained in the following sections, grant of the instant modification application will serve the public interest by enabling Intelsat to implement a deployment plan change to respond to customer demands and ensure continuity of service.
